A room made of light

A year-long content partnership: a Sixteen on our property, and twelve months of photographs made by the person who works inside it.

Hi Mini-O team,

Thank you for reaching back out, and for being open to something bigger than a pod sale. Lindsay asked for the idea in writing: scope, deliverables, cadence, and the pod configuration. It's all below, along with why this matters to me.

Grant

Fifteen years of making work in other people's light

For fifteen years I've photographed luxury weddings, more than 400 of them, traveling around the world to capture some of the most significant celebrations in people's lives. Alongside that, I take on select commercial work for brands like YETI, RUX, Solo Stove, and M1 Skis.

I'm a photographer first, and also a creative director and a small business owner. I'm deeply technical, too: my edit station, my server, my gear, and my workflows are built by hand and tuned constantly.

Every one of those days happened inside a space. A chapel, a ballroom, a field at golden hour, a desk at midnight. The spaces I work in and the spaces I work at are integral to what I produce. They shape how I see, how I edit, and how much of myself ends up in the work. It's something I care about deeply, and it's why I'd rather show your pod than describe it.

I'm not offering an audience. I'm offering a year of premium photography from someone who lives in the pod and makes images for a living.

Space shapes the work

Four hundred weddings taught me that the right light changes how people move, how they feel, and how they show up. The same is true of the rooms we work in.

A good workspace isn't a place to hide from the house. It's a place you walk out to on purpose. You cross the driveway, the door closes, and the day has edges again.

What hangs on the walls matters. What the light does at 4 PM matters. When the room is right, the work rises to meet it.

Light

I've spent my career chasing it. A workspace should be designed around light, not lit as an afterthought.

Environment

What's on the walls, the desk, and outside the window sets the standard for everything that leaves the room.

Inspiration

The right room doesn't just hold the work. It asks more of it, every day.

Home

Thirty feet from the house, a door that closes, and four kids who still knock. Work with edges, family close.

Where this is going

We're building a home on land in 2027, and this pod will be part of that story. I'd like to begin in Q1 or Q2, which gives your team time to plan and gives us a year that captures something real: a creative family building a life, with the office at the center of it.

The twelve months begin on install day. If construction or permits shift the date, the plan shifts with it, and nothing is lost.

The look

Warm, natural light. Unhurried, honest compositions. The space shown as part of real life rather than as a staged product. My own work comes first. The references after it are stills from other creators' films, not my work, but they capture the light and tone I'd bring to every frame.

Twelve months in the pod

One frame, every month

The same locked-off exterior shot, taken from the exact same spot each month. In month twelve it becomes a sequence of the pod living through a full year.

If the pod moves to our land

If the pod relocates when the house is finished, the move becomes its own chapter and takes that month's slot. Few things prove "portable" like watching it happen.

What Mini-O receives

Photography leads. Every month delivers a full, edited gallery built for your website, social, email, and print. A handful of short films round out the year.

Every gallery covers

Architecture

Exteriors from every side, at every time of day.

Interiors

Wide rooms and close details: the desk, the glass, the light on the floor.

Craftsmanship

Hardware, materials, and joinery. The things that make a Mini-O a Mini-O.

In use

Real work on real days, never staged.

People

Family and clients, candid and natural.

Light and weather

Dawn, dusk, night, Texas heat, and storms on the glass.
