We road tripped up to Red River, NM back in August (with our dog/sidekick Bennett) to capture Madison + John's special day. Destination weddings are always special because we get a little vacation of our own on the front or back end. Madison + John both went to Texas A&M, but it took them separately moving to DC and 3 years before they met. They met through mutual friends at a Redskins vs. Browns game when Johnny Manziel was still on the team (Gig 'Em Ags.)
Crazily enough, each of their families grew up spending summers in Red River, NM, so when the time came to pick a location it was an easy decision as to where they would make their covenant. The site of their wedding was Bitter Creek Ranch, where musician Michael Martin Murphey plays on the weekends.
