AVERY + WES

Our first time hanging out with Avery + Wes together was 5 years ago on a college double date at a local pizza place. Pretty sure it was Grant and I's first double date ever. 

Well, time has passed, we've all matured, and God has taken our relationships with our [now] spouses to sweet depths. Shooting Avery + Wes' wedding was a special celebration for us to be apart of! They compliment each other wonderfully, love the outdoors, and value coffee (don't miss the pictures of Houndstooth making pour overs at the reception!). This misty wedding day was a joyous one!

Madison + John // Red River, NM

We road tripped up to Red River, NM back in August (with our dog/sidekick Bennett) to capture Madison + John's special day. Destination weddings are always special because we get a little vacation of our own on the front or back end. See the bottom of this post for a pic of the crazy off-the-grid AirBnB we visited in Taos, NM! 

Madison + John both went to Texas A&M, but it took them separately moving to DC and 3 years before they met. They met through mutual friends at a Redskins vs. Browns game when Johnny Manziel was still on the team (Gig 'Em Ags.) 

Crazily enough, each of their families grew up spending summers in Red River, NM, so when the time came to pick a location it was an easy decision as to where they would make their covenant. The site of their wedding was Bitter Creek Ranch, where musician Michael Martin Murphey plays on the weekends.
